A Moment Of Clarity

March 18, 20196 Comments

It has been a while since I have composed a piece of music. I have been going a few different directions career wise-plus the business of being a mum takes over most of the time too. But, I am back and feeling a sense of clarity and purpose now and will be composing more from now on, plus taking on more flute students when I open up Saturday mornings for term 2.

Here is the latest piece of music for solo flute: ‘Moments Of Clarity’. This piece was inspired by the new sense of direction I feel at the moment. It goes for three and a half minutes and would be perfectly suited as an encore for your flute concert or perhaps as an opening piece for a program that is more ‘meditative’ in nature.

I am a multi-instrumentalist and let me just say that you play beautifully! I have been playing music for over 30 years, and this composition touches my soul in a way that I cannot fully express in words. I’m currently holding my precious little parrot and your solo instantly made him relax and fluff his wings (which means he’s happy!). Thank you so much for sharing your art.

Thank you Buck! Really glad you liked it. Funny thing about birds-I have noticed they often respond to flute playing. One of the students I teach has a budgie, which is always quiet upon my arrival at her house. But as soon as we start the flute lesson, the bird cannot shut up!! It is like it wants to sing with us!

This is one of the best solo packs i have ever listened to, The sound is pleasing to hearing and heart touching. The chords are well picked. I appreciate the fact that you shared this lovely music with your blog readers. Your Youtube channel has been saved and I hope to check on the channel for more of this motivating music. Thanks for sharing

Oh! This is so so good. I don’t really know much about composong music but I love to listen to them a great deal..

The entire scenario contributed to the calm nature of the music and I was Actually relaxed and at peace through the whole play.

Even my little one who never stays still for more than a minute got caught up too and sat with me watching with keen eyes to the very end.

    really nice Piece.

    Cheers..
